Celebrating 20 Years of Service: Ararat Foundation's Gala Night
The Ararat Foundation’s 20th Anniversary Gala was a night to remember — a celebration of resilience, culture, and community.
After a long pause since its last major event in 2019, the Ararat Foundation hosted a milestone gathering to commemorate two decades of dedicated service to the Armenian people. The foundation expressed heartfelt gratitude to every guest, sponsor, and speaker who contributed to making the evening truly special.
Highlights from the Evening
The gala featured meaningful moments, powerful tributes, and vibrant artistic performances. Key highlights included:
• Los Angeles City Councilmember Adrin Nazarian presenting the Ararat Foundation with a Certificate of Congratulations in honor of its 20 years of unwavering service to the Armenian community.
• Renowned scholar Rouben Galichian delivering a virtual presentation of ancient Armenian maps, offering a deep connection to the nation’s historical roots.
• Soulful musical performances by artists Zepyur, Narek Jamkochian, and Edgar Khachatryan, who filled the venue with emotion and artistry.
• A live art experience with artist Nazani, who not only auctioned her original piece but also created a painting during the event — later raffled to one fortunate guest.
• An auction of ceramics, hand-woven miniature rugs, and children’s artwork from the foundation’s summer camps in Armenia — a moving testament to the creativity and cultural pride fostered through its programs.
Honoring a Legacy
A deeply emotional moment of the evening was the tribute to Fred Vartanians, the late co-founder of the Ararat Foundation. His vision, passion, and lifelong service helped shape the foundation’s mission. His legacy continues to guide and inspire its work, remaining an enduring part of the organization’s story.
