Ararat Foundation, with the help of the community at large, will be carrying out extensive renovation in Artsakh at Children's and Youth's Cultural Center in New Shahumyan's Karvajar district, starting in the Spring of 2017.The plans have been drawn and the cost analysis have been determined. Currently the cultural center is in a state of severe disrepair. The old center will be renovated into a modern facility featuring high standard amenities, new roof, doors and windows, renovated floors, new stage with lighting and sound systems, lavatories, new electricity and heating systems, beautifully redesigned entrance and a renovated yard which includes a new septic tank system.


 Also, a 3,000 square ft (304 square meter) new structure which will include 7 art studios that will be added to the old structure to aid multifunctional emendation to serve the community at a higher capactiy.

In the year 2015 alone, Ararat Foundation has provided over $75,000 worth of humanitarian goods, including clothing, household items and school items to the entire population in the New Shahamyan region. The particular region of Artsakh has entirely 15 villages which are in need of housing developments and creation of jobs.
